Tuesday, March 14, 2006Fine LineSometimes, I find there is a very fine line between being someone's Domme and being their mommy. One, very desirable for us, the other leads to disagreements and rebellion. I'm doing my part by remembering just what things are part of our D/s relationship (our sexuality, final decisionmaking), and what things are NOT (most daily things). I fall in to the mommy trap with my spouse a lot, but I can't really blame D/s. In reality, I just fall into that trap because I mommy all day and my job is sort of a "parental" job. So, I just slip into it sometimes. But I need to be careful, because our dynamic must remain in the adult realm. Why hasn't anyone been handing out how-to books with marriage certificates? |
