Saturday, April 21, 2007Letting GoMistress and I discovered there is a responsible side to letting yourself go. This happened when I screamed after a particularly painful set of slaps on my back. It was very loud, and the kids were asleep and as soon as I had screamed from the pain of that last slap, my Lady shut down and refused to play with me anymore. The long and short of it was this was irresponsible of me to let myself go so far as to potentially involve someone else (i.e. wake the kids). I was getting into the moment and letting myself go without thinking of the situation. My Lady said that in a dungeon or isolated hotel cabin or something, that would have been fine, maybe even expected, but in our house with the kids asleep, that is a big nono, and a hard limit for her. Hard limits are important, and knowing what both yours and your partners are is even more important. My Lady was right to cut off play for the evening. |
